Anne is an international three day event rider and trainer

Anne hopes to make it to the upper levels with several horses that she is currently training, enabling her to realize her dream of representing the U.S. on the Three-Day Event team.   Eventing is a three day equestrian sport which is often referred to as the “Equestrian Triathlon”. Riders and their horses compete in dressage, cross-country and show-jumping.

Anne’s dream of reaching the 2016 Olympics is becoming closer to reality.

“The only thing preventing Anne from pursuing her dreams of representing the United States Equestrian team is the financial backing of donors and sponsors,” stated Carel Eijkenaar, world renowned FEI dressage Judge. Eventing, as with most equestrian sports, is an extremely expensive endeavor for the serious competitor, costing in excess of $65,000 per year.  “Fund raising is the only thing standing between me and the Olympic dream”, proclaimed Anne Kaufman, “but I have to believe that with donations to the American Horse Trials Foundation, I’ll be able to realize that dream.”

Anne has been certified to receive grants from the American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF). The AHTF is a non-profit corporation established to assist Three Day Event riders in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition. Donations are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
